When we were on our road trip in Montana, there were other things we found to do besides Glacier National Park. I should say for us…in addition to. We stayed in a hotel in Big Sky Resort, and we camped in an RV in West Glacier near the park. If you are camping in Montana, you know the views are beautiful. Here are five other things to do around the west part of Glacier National Park. We rented a small car for 2 nights so we could drive to other parts outside of the west entrance. On your way to the park, you will probably be on Highway 2 and pass the number one thing to do near the park. The number one thing to do around Glacier National Park is pull off at Shepard Memorial Fountain and walk across the street to step in the Flathead creek. The parking pull off area is across the street from the tiny fountain. The aqua water has a large enough pebble beach that you can just spend 15 minutes at to dip your toes in. #glaciernationalpark #visitglaciernationalpark
