The ONE place in California you must see.

If you only had one place to visit in California, I wouldn’t send you to the beaches. Not LA. Not even San Francisco, where I was born.

I’d send you here: Yosemite.

We grew up going to Yosemite, but trips are rare now because everyone’s scattered across the world. Still, if someone says ‘Yosemite,’ we make it happen

Driving in, the first glimpse of Half Dome will give you goosebumps. That’s when you know you’ve arrived in the Valley. And it never loses that power.

We spent two nights at Yosemite View Lodge, just 10 minutes from the park entrance. It meant we could wake up before sunrise, pile into the car half-asleep, and make it to the Upper Yosemite falls trailhead before parking filled up.

After our hike, we stood on the balcony with the best CA homegrown reward: Sierra Nevadas. My brother even had a beer, and he doesn’t even like beer!

No matter how many days you spend in Yosemite, it never feels like enough.
Put Yosemite on your bucket list.
