Sometimes you cannot watch movies over the ocean or because the airplane’s entertainment system is broken…so make sure you have Netflix shows or whoever you use.
HERE IS HOW TO DOWNLOAD NETFLIX (but wait until the day or two before your trip so they will not expire):
Once you find your movie or show, tap Download.
When in the air at 35,000 feet or with no power during a hurricane, open the Netflix app. Find My Downloads in the bottom right corner or Go to My Downloads on the screen.
Tap on the show or movie to watch.
Voila! Long trip made easier!!
