Most people want to see something they like when they look in the mirror, and there’s nothing wrong with that. However don’t fall for the trap of training for looks only. Train to be ready. The older you get, the more your body will thank you later for working in these 5 exercise movement patterns.
I’ve always trained for performance and to be functional. However, there have been times I get caught up in training solely to look nice when I take my shirt off. Last year I had the opportunity to compete on the Reality TV show iFit Trainer Games on Amazon Prime, and While preparing for the competition, I realized being fit was never the goal. But being Capable is always what I want to aim for.
